Love & Romance

We are essentially social beings and our lives derive definition from the interlinking strands that bind us to others as we journey through life. These strands that link each of us take shape in the form of relationships.

Love is that special feeling of heart, something that every individual has crossed path. The most precious gift of God, love and romance has never failed to cast its magical spell over the individual. This very feeling of heart captures each beat of romance in the most fascinating way thus leaving one dumbstruck while expressing it. The feeling of love carries an aura with it that charms and entices people in the most magical way. Romance is that feeling of heart that keeps the love clock ticking. Re-ignite the passion in your love or re-kindle the flame of love with romance.

While in practice of Astrology I come across almost all sections of society. I would particularly discuss the issue of love and romance in greater detail especially when it comes to young generation. I doubt whether new generation is capable of handling emotional aspect of love and romance. Lack of honesty and transparency being the first cause of unproductive pattern of relationship behaviour.

I am listing some of the real questions asked to me by my new generation clients:

When do I make a move? Started as friend- how to get closer? He likes someone else – I’m chasing him anyway. I’m confused about her. Do I need to give it time? I feel disappointed. I like her but I like her friends too. I’m stuck in a love triangle. She knows I like her- what should I do? It’s a complicated love pain. I am in love with my friend…he is talking to someone else. How am I supposed to approach her? What to do next and if there is hope left? Is he falling for me? When to escape the friend zone and start flirting? I am having doubts? My boyfriend is really shy? I’m very confused and don’t know what to do? Is there any time frame? I am in love but the boy would not show any reaction! Could he possibly be interested in me? I know he likes me too…but how do I make him say that to me? He has changed all of a sudden. How to make him feel the same way as I do towards him? And does he love me too? To take chance or not? How do I finally propose her? And when the suitable time? I love him but am afraid what his reply would be? It’s my last attempt, what are chances? We like each other but..?  Long distance internet relationship, what is future? He is using me should I break it up? How to stop the insecurity stoking? My girlfriend cheated after three years, what to do?

Our matured clients are no less involved and embedded in relationships than their younger counterpart. The most general question asked to me is- I’m married and deeply involved with a girl, I need major help. Will my secret affair be disclosed?

Emotional outburst of love is equally unpredictable: anxiety, apprehension, distress, uneasiness, worry, shock, amusement, ecstasy, euphoria, bliss, delight, happiness, jubilation, enthusiasm, excitement, exhilaration, thrill, desire, passion, infatuation, obsession, depression, unhappiness, despair, insecurity, alienation, homesickness, embarrassment, humiliation, astonishment, amazement etc. are the canvas of emotions one encounters during the various stages of love.

Is it possible for men and women to be just friends without being romantic? Is there anything like platonic love? For many people the idea of a man and a woman being friends is charming, but improbable. "It always leads to something else…" they argue, meaning that the relationship eventually becomes romantic. It is very difficult for a man and woman to have a platonic friendship…normally emotions get in the way and friendship can be ruined by one of the parties starting to get either possessive or jealous…

On the other hand, there are those who are seemingly surprised by the question and argue that of course male-female friendships are possible: why wouldn't they be?

Yet a few will answer "it depends." What do these relationships depend upon? They depend upon how much each person in the relationship is willing to stretch and grow. These friendships, you see, require both men and women to call upon parts of themselves that are usually less accessible when relating to their typical same-sex friends. For a man, a woman who is just a friend allows him to express his more emotional side, to experience his vulnerability, to treat himself and his friend more tenderly than is permissible with male friends. What is typically missing for him in this cross-gender relationship, however, is the kind of rough camaraderie he can have with another man. For a woman, a man who is just a friend helps her express her independent, more reasoned and tougher side - the harder edge that's kept under wraps in relationships with women. The down side for her is the relative absence of emotional reciprocity and intensity she normally shares with a female friend.

Lastly it seems answer will be YES. Men and women can enjoy friendship together, but not at the same level they do with friends of the same sex.

Vedic Astrology has some very interesting and trustworthy standard methods and tools to analyse, examine and measure any number of contrasting outcomes of a relationship. Along with natal, transit and prashna some sort of psychological flavour and cultural implication and some other factors are used by me while dealing with such clients. You will get the perfect solution if you accept Astrology for what it is, and not what you wish it to be.

After all, Love is energy: it can neither be created nor destroyed. It just is and always will be, giving meaning to life and direction to goodness... Love will never die; it’s a special state of soul.
